FOOD: For tea, I had settled on the Twinings Camomile & Honey, while for my meal, I had ordered the Hot Ham & Mozzarella Sandwich (I was able to choose which bread I wanted; I settled on white), which came with a side of Coleslaw. For dessert, I chose the Cheese Scone, with Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam as my preserve. The tea was delicious, with just a hint of sugar, with that small bit of honey giving it that zest. The Hot Ham & Mozzarella Sandwich was divine, with it tasting fresh out of the oven, with a large amount of ham, and melted cheese throughout the sandwich. It was also crunchy, which is what I love about hot sandwiches! The Coleslaw was also delicious, although it was a bit too small (would have loved to have more). It wasnt too creamy or runny, with just the perfect amount of mayonnaise added to it. The Cheese Scone was different from any other scone I had tasted before, with it looking more like a muffin then a scone. It was very soft on the inside, and fresh, with cheese peppered throughout the scone. The Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam were smooth (not chunky like at some establishments), and spread perfectly within the scone. The food was delicious, and for good value as well!ATMOSPHERE: The tea room is behind a shop that sells British goods. The tea room had about five medium-sized tables, with artifacts such as tea cups, pots, and other tea-inspired items on-top of the shelves lining the room. There was also a big screen TV, and cards/pictures for sale. There was some British-inspired music playing in the background of the dining room however, I also heard contemporary music playing as well (possibly coming from the kitchen). I lovedthe corner which had the two large comfortable chairs for those whom wished to sit comfortably while sipping their tea. The room was very bright, with it being quite small however, comfortable enough for a small lunch. You were able to see the kitchen from the dining area as there was only a swinging door separating the kitchen and the dining area, with a cash register and desk in front of the swinging door.SERVICE: The young woman whom served me was very prompt, asking me if I was ready for my next course once I was done the previous one. I would have liked if she were to ask about filling up my tea pot as hot water was considered free. When I asked her questions about the food items, she answered with ease, showing that she was confident with the items being served.COST: Twinings Chamomile & Honey Tea ($1.50) + Hot Ham & Mozzarella Sandwich ($5.25) + Cheese Scone (With Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam) ($2.25) = $10.17 (taxes included)WOULD YOU RETURN? Yes. I did make a special trip to try this tea room therefore, if I am in the area again, I would give it another try. I found the price to be fantastic for the amount of food that I was given. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of being in a tea room, especially one which had beautiful artifacts. I also enjoyed having free parking (which is located at the back of the tea room).
