  This used to be my favourite bubble tea place all across Canada but for the past few weeks I have received the absolute worst service of my life. I have gone to the store multiple times around 11pm (when they close at midnight) and been denied service- even if I just wanted a bubble tea to go. At this time, I finally asked when is their last call- I was told, rudely, that if I order ahead for pickup before 11:15 that would be okay. So the next time I called at 11:05 to order a bubble tea for pickup and they told me they were closed already-again on a night that the hours clearly state they are open until 12am. So I proceeded to explain politely that I was told I could order before 1130pm, and they hung up on me. So I tried to call back and again ask my question, and they hung up on me. I have never been so appalled at a lack of politeness and customer service and I will certainly be sharing this story to everyone I know, as I do not want anyone supporting a bubble tea house that has zero care about their customers or their business.

  Dark & SLOW service. It was my first time trying out 8090 and it was a bad experience. I went into the tea house with my friend and the first thing we both noticed was that the whole place was really dark , the lighting was pretty dim and not much light coming from the window. Then when we were seated to a table ,the table was really scratched up and the menu books were a bit scrunched up and was kind of dirty. I ordered a taro milk tea ,well my friend ordered regular milk green tea ,popcorn chicken and a mix of beef & fish balls. The drinks were made really fast and I liked what I ordered. However my friend’s bubble tea had foam on top that tasted weird and it took over an hour till the food arrived. On top of that the staff got one of our orders mixed up and she forgot about us when it was time to pay the bill, there was only 2 tables at that time and most of the time she was busy playing on her phone. Then for the food I liked the popcorn chicken ,but my friend thought it was too salty and that the beef & fish balls were overcooked. Overall some of the food & drinks was good, some were bad and there needs to be improvement in customer service, the place needs to be brighter(lights on) and needs someone to clean the place more often.

  BBTAddict. Awesome bubble tea at fair prices. Absolutely delicious hot pot and amazing flavours. As an Asian, I definitely reccomend this place.
