Ended up here because we wanted to try something new in the area, and heard this place was great. Meh, not so much.Atmosphere – Aces is a classic Restaurant / Bar split, Bar to the right, and restaurant to the left. The place is clean, with classic breakfast place attitude and decor. Comfortable, if hearkening back to Grandmas kitchen, which isnt always a bad thing i guess.Service – Prompt, and studious, made us feel welcome, and didn’t over serve, as we were a little groggy.Food – I had sausage and eggs, and my Wife had a poached eggs and pancakes. Overall disappointing. Poached eggs were runny a too soft, Homefries were these sliced potatoes which simply did not go, obviously someones personal creation, and they need to be re-evaluated. They were dry, overcooked, and seasoned poorly. Sausages were straight fat, and almost in-consumable. Pancakes were good?Overall a poor meal, and we definitely wont be back.

Went here with my father for brunch. He wanted breakfast and I want lunchAtmosphere- Plain and simple. Not a lot of character here. Almost a cafeteria feel but with a waitress. Food- 1) My Dad had eggs and bacon with hash browns with toast. 4 pieces of bacon impressed my father. 2) I had a buffalo chicken wrap and fried vegetables. It was only $2.50 for a large plate of mixed vegetables as a side. The wrap wad also really good for a great price. Service- Waitress was exceptional and made everyone feel welcome. A lot of regulars when we were there. Impression- I will add it to my father’s no fuss places that we can go that has good food and endless good coffee.
