Delicious… Went to the Blue Nile on May 10…the decor is simple and clean… Food was delicious and the prices were amazing.. We ordered the meat and vege combo but had three vege dishes… It was just enough. We had the zilzil tibbs and ordered them spicy… Woooooheee they were hot but soooo good… The heat hits after you get the delicious flavours.. Was a little surprised to see the zucchini and carrots in the tibbs but that too was good. Will definitely go back again.
Not authentic enough. Went to the restaurant, very beautiful with nice decoration, fantastic staff but the food was just not authentic enough for me after visiting Ethiopia. The amount was also not enough for the price. I have been to other Ethiopian restaurants like Wass and I must say it is by far the best Ethiopian restaurant in Hamilton, very authentic tasting with reasonable amount of food for the price. It was not a bad experience at Blue nile but most likely will not go back.
Tasty but won’t go back. Although the food was good, the portions were really small. The appetizers were good value but the entrees were overpriced considering the small amount of food. The goat was bony and contained little meat. The lamb was pretty fatty. The food took a really long time to be served and the service was *terrible*. A restaurant staff member stood in the door smoking and blew smoke into the restaurant. Two small glasses of white were $16. The washroom was dirty. There was no toilet paper in the men’s and the women’s had no paper towels. Will not bother to ever go back.
A fine dinner. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian food was very good. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are mid-range and reasonable. The vegetarian options explicitly indicated on the menu are much appreciated. The decor and atmosphere are both conducive to experiencing Ethiopian culture.

Lunch. Food was delicious, freshly prepared, and plentiful. Vegetarian items as well as meat dishes were sampled, and all was tasty!
