I can summarize my visit to this restaurant by bizarre. The service, drinks and atmosphere were great but the food that is a different story. The chef is putting too many flavours on a dish that don’t go well together and as a result the outcome is poor at best. While the flavours may do justice independently putting these certain combinations together was an insult to each flavour. 2 thumbs down on many levels. What an eye opener. Without bad restaurant I won’t be able to appreciate good ones. Sad story

Decided to try this new place out on the spur of the moment. Service was slow when arrived, (restaurant was almost empty) but once it was getting busy service picked up. It appeared they may be training new staff. The oysters were fresh and the habanero salsa was excellent. Cauliflower and squash dishes were both interesting and full of flavour. Our guests had the meatballs and raved about them. French fries were better than most places! Will be going back

This place has potential but overall I was fairly disappointed with my first visit. Service was so-so friendly but not very attentive. The food was a mixed bag.The ceviche was excellent, and by far the best dish of the night, however the fact that it was brought out at the same time as the cloyingly sweet burrata & pears was odd. While both dishes are good, neither should be on the table at the same time as they definitely do not work well together. The side dishes were pretty disappointing. The shishito peppers were bland, boring and needing some acid to punch through (a shame that such a great ingredient was handled so poorly). The smoked leeks were meh, very stringy and not anything memorable. On to the pizza. Overall I’d say I was cautiously optimistic about the pizza here. We opted for a margherita as it’s a classic and a true testament to a good pizza joint. The toppings and surprisingly the sauce were excellent, however the dough could have been cooked another minute for my liking. Not sure I’d come back here unless I hear that the menu, and execution, has improved.
