What can I say about the burritos I ordered? To start I will say that they are way to packed with food but it is not distributed evenly. I got all the avocado at the end of the burrito and the the sour cream on one corner and the cheese in the middle…it was not spread evenly if you know what I mean. Then the flavour…let me put it this way: this are the worst burritos I EVER tasted in my 42 years!!!! The guacamole was soooo bad it was ridiculous, the sour cream? Awful, then it has so much food inside that you cant even bite it without the burrito literally exploding all over you! With Mexican food less is more, what it makes Mexican food good is the flavour not the quantity. I paid so much for this 2 burritos ($30.00!!!) and Im just pissed! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy…unless my enemy knows nothing about Mexican food and wont notice the difference between awesome and garbage. Go to Mesa on James street and you will see what a good burrito is! Not this ones for sure! Sorry but I will never, ever order anything from this place! EVER!
I’m so disappointed that I have to give this business a negative review. I usually go to Burrito Bandidos about 4 times a month, and lately I’ve noticed the quality has been steadily declining. Today I ordered a small shrimp bowl, which in the past came so packed with ingredients that I struggled to finish it. This time I got a small handful of rice, 5 tomato chunks, and the rest was filled up with lettuce. The rice was hard and undercooked, and barely warm. I came an a little over an hour before closing time, so I shouldn’t have received the end of the night leftovers.Like the other reviews have said this place was awesome, friendly staff and great atmosphere, but if I’m still hungry after paying $10.75 for takeout I’m not the happiest customer.
This was my first time going to burrito bandidos. I didn’t want to eat too much so I got the small instead of the large. The small is HUGE and is so heavy, I can’t imagine what the large is like. The staff was very friendly. There are a good amount of toppings you can have but only three different sauces. All of the toppings were very fresh and the I was seriously impressed by the amount of food you get. It was perfectly put together so all of that food didn’t spill out and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend it and I can’t wait to go again.
Thumbs up I guess…. Nice atmosphere and good service, but the burrito (small chicken) was bland, the meat was dry and lacked flavour. I feel like maybe with some added sauces and spices could have easily changed my opinion. Overall, I liked the decor, location and atmosphere but the food needs a little work. Will return to try the Halibut.
Amazing burritos. Have had 3 burritos so far and halibut is amazing followed by steak burrito. want to try other flavors but keep coming back for the hali.Service was quick and friendly as well. Also has free WiFi so you can surf while you watch them make your burrito
