High quality coffee and lots of banned goods to choose from. Wish the hours were better because I’m at work weekdays when it’s open. Staff and nice and know their stuff

Overall, its just another Cafe Joint in downtown. The coffee is average. Average tasting, above average price. The treats are decent, though expensive. Donuts and Muffins taste great. Lunch menu seems decently priced, though i have not tried it. Ill come back to this when i do.The place is small, often with people sitting right at the cash register, you have your rear end about 1 foot from their faces… Awkward. Move those seats. Also, the new morning counter staff is uninspired, and don’t encourage repeat visits. If you’ve got the time, make the trip to Locke for Democracy or Bread Bar, even Brown Dog – Cheaper & better coffee, better food options, better service. EDIT: Just went there, between two coffee pots they didn’t have enough coffee to pour a single cup, and looked confused about what to do about it. They poured the leftovers from two pots into a cup, brewed another pot, and topped it up with that. Really? Pour me a fresh cup. I am so sick of this place, but its the only decent coffee place within walking distance.

Awesome Coffee and Great Food!. OK, while we are probably biased being dutch and all, this is one of the best coffee places in the Hammer! The coffee is prepared to perfection and you can even choose from different local roasters! The food is good and there are even freshly made Dutch treats you can’t get anywhere else like boeterkoek (butter cake – it’s awesome really). The best thing is the freshly made Stropwaffel (Syrup waffles) a Dutch syrup cookie. I mean, come one, if that doesn’t get you in the door… It’s a cookie made with syrup in it! We have also had the meatball soup (bitterbollen) and it is better than my mother’s (don’t tell her) This is the place for your next coffee fix!Eet Smakelijk!!
