Takeout.. What takeout?. China Palace wont even deliver to the lower half of Hamilton.. Neglecting business to anyone that lives down the mountain.
Great Food/Good service. I went to this restaurant for the first time today and I must say I am impressed. I am not a big fan of Chinese food, mostly because it’s bland and the service at almost every Chinese restaurant I’ve been to, sucks. But I was really happy with my experience today. The service by the owners was incredible. Food was served on time, we were served with a lot of respect and politness. The food itself was of high quality and tasty. They are always happy to accommodate your requests, for example, I am not a big meat eater, so they suggest Seafood/Veggie dishes. And made them really good.I would recommend this small little gem in the heart of Hamilton
Totally disappointing. My Husband and I have been going to China Palace for years. We used to have it delivered but when they started charging more for going around the corner we started to pick it up. Tonight I called in my order and I was there in 20 min as requested. Got the food, got home and 1 dish outta 4 was hot-ish. The beef rice was slightly warm and the chicken rice was warmish on top but fresh from the fridge cold near the bottom. The beef with snow pea pods..the beef was hot..the rest was barely warm. The chicken balls were dry and the batter held alot of grease as if they dropped them in the oil to reheat them …just over all a really bad experience. I note the gentleman who is usually there was not tonight…not sure if has changed hands or what but the quality was crap.
Horrible experience. The manager changed the prices on us when we arrived, gave us the wrong order, and then argued with me about it. I eat Chinese food regularly, and I know different dishes. The manager also asked us if we were his competition and was rude the entire time. No wonder his restaurant was empty while we were there.
Not a good experiance. I spent a lot of money in dec with china palace and it was supposed to feed 20 people the owner said, it didnt feed 14 people and he charged us a lot….i called and they did nothing ……i waited and went back now and the lady was rude and wanted not to do a thing for me…the food last night was bad…the chicken balls were dry.. the chow mein had a terrible fish taste…not good and to top it off the owner was rude saying you shouldnt write reviews …so bad
Awesome Dinner for 2B. We love China Palace! I think it just might be one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants that I have seen(so far). We always get the Dinner for 2B and we love it their food is always fresh, hot and tasty. However they are the only restaurant that give you Plain Fried Rice with their combo meals so if you like your Chicken Fried rice you can request that but they will charge you extra for that. I would say they have great food for a cheap price, give it a try.
Our take-out standby.. We started getting take-out after China Palace came in second in the a Readers Choice Chinese Food Awards a few years ago. (Number one is too far away)We live close by and usually we call and by the time we get there the food is ready. Always fresh and tasty’ we have never been disappointed. Our favorite it Spicy Shrimp and Broccoli and Spring Rolls. Keep supporting our local restaurants.
