Shameful experience. Chicken in the vegetarian fried rice….several pieces….and they don’t care.Ordered online at 2:30 pm for 6pm delivery, came at 7pm….and they don’t care.Several other errors with the order.Tried to get some of our money back ( it was an $82 order) and got nowhere. All I can do is let others know to avoid this place and give your business to a deserving restaurant .
The food came two hours late, and almost everything we ate was disgusting. It tasted horrible, my chicken looked and tasted like plastic. My friends are vegetarian and there was meat in their order. The worst wonton soup I have ever had in my life. Do not eat here the worst meal I have ever had
Nope. Placed an order at 850 when I got home from work. Was told 45 minutes (I’m a block away) waited an hour and a half… called back and now they are closed. Not impressed
Food didn’t arrive. Called at 5:20, confirmed my delivery address twice when ordering. Then I called at 7; 00 and confirmed my delivery address again, and was told that the driver had left. I called AGAIN at 7:20 and was told I gave them the wrong mailing addresses. The woman was very dismissive and put the blame on me. I won’t be ordering from them again.
DIRTY. I have ordered delivery several times from this place and the food was okay, however I recently went into the restaurant for a meal and I turned around and walked right out and I will never order again!! It was very grungy and dirty inside and I would hate to see the kitchen! It was also completely empty inside and no wonder! If you order delivery from these guys you might want to take a look at the restaurant and rethink that! I really don’t get why people open restaurants and then let it get to a disgusting state like this.
Never again. This used to be the prime Chinese Restaurant, but tonight they served inedible food. The lemon chicken looked compressed, dried out and slightly pink and the lemon sauce tasted like baby wipes. The garlic ribs were mostly fat and cartilage, the shrimp in lobster sauce was runny and had white slimy flouting bits like egg white but more slippery. The noodles had a chemical smell and taste to them. The mushroom fried rice and the spring roles were ok. This cost me $60. The worst part was that when I complained, they offered me $30 back and to pick up the food. They went on about how they were out the money and that they had to hire a driver to bring it to me. I informed them that it wasn’t about them and I was our $30 and still hungry. They were very rude about me not being able to eat their low quality food.
Gone downhill. I have been ordering from Forbidden City for many years. However, this past year the service has declined. Tonight’s order took two hours for delivery. I live about 2km away. I called three times looking for the order & they could not give me an answer. When the driver arrived the food was cold. Will be looking for a new place in the future.
