I have been here a few times. I think the location is working against them. I sure hope they survive.Atmosphere- Cute as a button. A 60s diner. If you had ever been to Auntie Booms cafe ( when it was open) on Ottawa St. this is the spin off .Food- I have had breakfast here- Food and prices are both good. My daughter especially likes that you can get real maple service for an extra cost, She is a syrup snob and wont order pancakes or french toast without it. The eggs have been good and I especially like that my father likes it here.. He only goes to a few laces in town. His criteria is good tasting coffee with refills and the price has to be right. He keeps telling me anyone can make eggs. I dont agree but this place does eggs we too. I have taken my dining group here as well for dinner. The reviews were as follows- 1) chili- good but not enough spice 2) roast beef dinner- good but needed something in the line of spices. 3) burgers are good and fries were nice. 4)perogies needed something too. I think the underlying problem is that the cook is afraid of spices. The milk shakes ( many flavours) and pies were scrumptious)Service- have been there severaltimes for breakfastbut only once for dinner and every time service was spot on. I have been treated like a regular ( although we have not been there that often) This is what keeps me coming back with my father for breakfasts.Impression- Breakfasts are great for the price. I will be back again and again. I sure hope this place survives, the people here work so hard. I will update when I go for dinner again Maybe when my group went it was an off day. I sure hope so.
