This restaurant is AWESOME. Very friendly wait staff and the food is home made!!! This Golden griddle isn’t apart of the franchise anymore so if you’re looking for a great classic golden griddle meal OR an awesome new special, you’re going to the right place.10/10 loved it
Just Nice. I like having dinner at the Golden Griddle, I regularly go to the Hamilton Mountain location and the one in Stoney Creek (besides hotel).I like their pancakes, pierogies, crepes, waffles. It’s all very tasty.Also, I find the food prices reasonable!
Ewwww…gross. This place is completely disgusting. Not the fault of the staff, because this location, typically owned by a franchisee, is actually owned by the corporation! They have been trying to unload it on some poor unsuspecting sod for some time now, but no one seems to be dumb enough to buy it. It is also apparent that the big boys do not want to invest in improvements, or even cleaning supplies! Shame on them, this place is a disgrace. The bathrooms are outdated and filthy. The breakfast buffet is a complete joke. The eggs resemble wet popcorn, and taste much the same. The bacon is lukewarm and barely edible, and what the heck were they thinking putting out potatoes that have the appeal of cold wet sponges? shouldn’t they know how to do breakfast by now? The waitress was nice enough, but staff generally look downtrodden and appear to really not want to be there. Can anyone blame them? They were clad in cheap t-shirts (and man, I do mean CHEAP) and the sorriest looking uniforms I’ve seen in recent memory. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Don’t Go. Both my and my partner’s pancakes were RAW in the middle and that was after waiting 40 mins! Had to wait another 20 mins for replacements and they were still under-cooked!
