Worst service ever!!!!!!. Decided to go to the Golden Griddle in Hamilton for breakfast with my family and we will never go there again!!’We had the worst waitress. She was very impolite, took way to long to get our drinks, gave us 2 waters instead of 2 ice teas, never came and asked how our meals were and if we needed anything. Another waitress ended up getting us refills.. We caught our waitress watching tv instead of waiting her tables nurmorous times. Also when we got our bill we noticed that we were charged for every refill of our drinks. We were never told that it wasn’t free refills so ended up paying an extra $20 just on our refills which it was only 3 of us!!!We weren’t the only table to complain about her either.. So with that being said, if you ever attend this location and AMBER is your waitress, be prepared to have crappy service!!!

If you like fried food, this is the place to come. I wouldn’t consider anything on the menu to be particularly healthy, though they do have a fresh, uninteresting salad.
Worst dining experience!!! 51 Keefer street Hamilton. We stayed at the the Quality Inn that is attached to the Golden Griddle. We went for breakfast and when we walked in we could tell the air-conditioning wasn’t working, not a problem. We stood at the front and waited to be seated, and waited and waited. When we finally did get seated, we were given one menu for the two of us and that was the last we saw our waitress. We browsed the menu and waited and waited, finally we decided to just go to the buffet, we figured it would be faster. We went up and got our plate of food, went back to our table and waited and waited, no syrup, no condiments, no coffee, nothing. We kindly asked a waitress for some coffee and water, she told us it wasn’t her section, gave us attitude, but did bring coffee and one glass of water. We sat and waited and waited for the cream for out coffee, and the syrup and other condiments. I finally had to get up and get it from another table, hmmm, sounds like I should get the gratuity. Now we have our coffee, a single glass of water and the condiments which I obtained. The only problem now was, the food was ice cold. We pushed the plates aside and went up for another plate of food, this time it was hot because I had already done the staffs job of getting the proper condiments. We never got to experience the famous Golden Griddle bottomless cup of coffee, we never had a waitress come to see how we were doing or offer us a refill , we sat with dirty plates in front of us and a full plate of food beside us, and no busboy waitress of manager insight. We waited for our cheque, and waited and waited, but not knowing who our waitress was, we decided to just go to the cash area. Now the hostess asked where our cheque was, we said we didn’t have one, she rolled her eyes and stormed off, I guess we should have sat and waited and waited instead of making her job harder. When she did return with a cheque for $36.98 our jaws dropped. We explained how bad the service was and we got a blank stare and a ‘oh well’. This is the first time I wanted to dine and dash, but was I talked out of it by my girlfriend. No Manager, No sorry, No remorse……NOTHING!Now I am angry that I can’t find a contact for the head office, What a joke!!!!
I have been here many times the food is over priced and does not taste well at all. Save your time and go to coras or the egg and I if you want a good breakfast. The owner Dom does not care about his employees nor customers.
Very Friendly!. The staff was very friendly. The food was decent and we had the weekend buffet. The only thing missing were butter tarts. Coffee was always kept full and we were always asked if we needed anything else. Fruit selection could have had some watermelon, but what they did have was certainly fresh. Well done!

Feels Like Home. I’ve been coming here for years, the customer service it’s great, and they are awesome with kids too!For the price point for the buffet they have a good variety and options for the basic breakfast.Worth the visit, esp on Sunday!
