This is the best place for Dim Sum in Hamilton as far as I’m concerned. Fast and friendly service and reasonable prices. The menu is pretty standard and the food is very good.
Distasteful. When we came during the peak of lunch hour, we encountered decent customer service from the servers. They spoke perfect English, which made it easy to communicate. A larger selection on their menu as well.However, in terms of the food quality, it was definitely not authentic Chinese. We ordered the Peking Duck dish and it was extremely disappointing. The duck was beyond dry and distasteful. The sauce alongside the dish was bland, not flavorful, and extremely watered down. It was a shame to call it Chinese food. It was definitely overpriced considering the quality and portion of the food. You’re better off going to Manchuwok.
Mobile review. This restaurant doesn’t look like much, but appearances can be deceiving. Everything I ordered was delicious! I love the red bean buns! I was pleasantly surprised!
Not Authentic. When I order either Sechuan or Hunan food, I expect just that. Simply adding hot chili pepper to an already prepared Cantonese food does not turn it into something other than unauthentic. These provincial foods must be prepared from the outset. Ever since Hunan House closed downtown, there in no good Chinese food in Hamilton. The way I see it….if ya cheat on one or two items….I can’t trust the rest. Even the Cantonese is not good. Nothing here is.
Amazing Dim Sum. The dim sum is out of this world! Haven’t been in so long and I’m craving it, especially the sticky rice 🙂
Heard great things about the restaurant so we decided to try it. It was fantastic! We ordered a lot of food so we did Hav a to waits while but it was absolutely worth the wait! Very reasonable pricing as well. I would definitely recommend it
By far the best Chinese restaurant in the city. Eat here once a month, one of my favourites in the city too.
