I wish I would have had the chance to try this tea room however, I was rudely turned away by the owner when I had walked-in without reservations. I had checked the website before driving over however, when I walked-in, I was told that without a reservation, I wouldn’t be served (I had walked-in when the tea room just opened at 10:30 am on a Friday morning). I then explained how I had checked the website, and that nothing was mentioned about having to make reservations. I then asked if I could have a quick Afternoon Tea, just for myself as I had driven a long way (I was the only customer in the tea room when I walked-in). The owner rudely told me that if she were to serve me, she would have to stop making her cakes to make the sandwiches for me. I was very disappointed, and had driven quite a distance to visit this tea room. She then continued to tell me how wasteful it was for me to drive all of that way. Needless to say, I will not be going back, and would not recommend this place to anyone.

High tea at Let Them Eat Cakes – so girly and fun!. We went for high tea to celebrate my friend’s birthday and we had a lovely time. The place was so pretty! The staff was friendly and there were so many cute things to look at in the shop. My the house tea had rose petals and our little cupcakes had tiny flowers on them too! So cute and so yummy. Fun day out!
