  The day my dining group went to this place there was an article in the Hamilton Spectator about them. The main things said were the food took a long time to come out but the wait was worth it, the food was out of this world fantastic,, and to bring a sweater because the place is drafty. So off I went , sweater in hand.Atmosphere- A lovely space that you have to walk down into . The chairs are noticeably comfortable. This is unusual for restaurants in town. Food- We had a large party and because of the size they offered us a pice fix menu for $36 and change. This included many choices on their menu. What a deal. We started off with a bread that was wonderful with a lemon curd type of butter. Yum. We then had Moroccan chicken, roasted lamb, a beef dish, a mixed vegetable dish, and garlic mashed potatoes. I would tell you more about each dish but the menu here changes daily as the supplies from local farms dictate what will be served. All I can say is that every dish tasted wonderfully with a variety of spices dancing with each dish as it crossed our pallets. Wow! We then finished our dinner with a tray of all the desserts that were offered that night . . All the desserts were also scrumptious. What a fabulous meal!Service- Our waitress was lovely and the chef came out after our dinner to ask how we enjoyed the meal. They even took a picture of our group for their webpage and sent it to me the next morning. That is such a fabulous idea! Impression- This has become one of my favourite places after the first meal here. I would always try to get a group of 8+ to be offered the fabulous family style deal. that way you can try all they have to offer. I would not have wanted to eliminate any part of the meal. I will be back with my dining group again for sure. With the way they change up the menu it would be like trying a new place every time. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 rating was because when I made reservations I did say we had a vegetarian in our group and nothing on the menu when we got there was vegetarian. Even the gnocchi was in a chicken broth. They did make up a nice dish for her but there should always be something on the menu offered for a vegetarian everyday. My only other regret is that I didn’t sit on the ends of table because my pictures were too blur to post. I will get more next time.

  Very friendly service, traditional diner food made well. Eggs are always perfect every time I come in. Never had anything but breakfast though. Menu is a little basic but executed well thehungrygnome.net

  Wife and I went today for breakfast. Great atmosphere, very clean, very friendly, and great food. We will definitely go again.
