Ola Bakery has European soul! Its THE place to hang out with friends and family. They are known for their great Portuguese pastel de nata (custard pie) among other pastries to go with your expresso, cappuccino, or any hot or cold drink of your choice. They also offer a small variety of cold and hot sandwiches, piri piri chicken, french fries and salad, not to mention their breads. Oh, may I suggest their hot bifana (pork) sandwich. Theyre open from 7am to 10pm Sunday-Thursday and 7am-midnight on Friday and Saturday. The place is almost always packed, so if youre in a hurry and expect fast service, youre setting yourself up for a disappointment. For your experience to work effectively on their busiest time, dont go sit at a table immediately and expect somebody to come and take your order instantly. Heres how its done: you walk in; place your order at the counter and pay for it right there and then, that way you dont have to stay in line again to pay your check at the end of your meal; go get a table and the wait staff will bring your order. The staff works furiously fast and efficiently, so cut them some slack and tip well. When Im in Hamilton, youre likely to find me there at least once a day, alone or with guests! Go enjoy a taste of Portugal!

Sad by the services I received today. For the past 5 years anytime I need a cake ( my daughters bday I have three daughter so three cakes for the last 5 years. Each cakes has cost me no less then 60 bucks they even made me a cake for a hundred people for my first born….always order it here they are delicious when I order the cake back in 2013 the young lady at the counter told me they only need a day or so for me to put in the Order for a cake…so I been doing so for the last 2 years..well today they refused to make it because it was a picture I had picked from the internet and they wouldn’t copyright I was like I understand it doesn’t have to look the same it’s just the style a two layer and the colours that I want ….they again said no this time saying they are too busy to make it….well thanks to your baker now I won’t be going there anymore and the 300bucks or so that I spend a year towards pastry and cake will be going to a bakery who cares about their customers…I have also informed all my friends and clients to boycott that location….sadly a simple no would of been fine but the way and the attitude in which they said I got today makes me angry I am a human being if it wasn’t for your loyal customer they wouldn’t have a business there’s way to say thing in a nice manner…..I wasn’t asking you for copyright I was showing you the style and color I wanted no need to be offend and throw my picture and refuse me sorry so so disappointed I love the cake but my pride and respect are worth way more then some cake …..

If you’re not Portuguese they ignore you… Lovely pastries and mediocre coffee..lousy service and as my title says..if your not Portuguese (or Spanish or Italian )) they will pretend you’re not even standing there infringement of them. It is a shame because the pastries are heavenly)…..
