Many of my friends and my significant other’s family is Italian and I’ve never had Italian food that tasted like that. Overall it was okay. The Gnocci was not cooked fully, the two Penne dishes we ordered were both made differently???…, and both of our pizzas that we ordered were not very good at all. The order of cannolis that we got were absolutely the worse cannolis I’ve ever had. The sangria we ordered was fabulous and as well as our server. Nonetheless, its something that we push aside and learn to not eat at Ora again. However, I woke up in the middle of the night with an upset stomach with everything I ate coming out of me. I thought it was just me so I gave a call to my two guest that came to Ora with me. Both of them were sick as well. Were not sure if it was the sauce, cheese, meat, etc.
One of the nicest locations I’ve been to down in hess village! The atmosphere as soon as you step into the restaurant is inviting, as well as the welcoming staff who are very friendly. I highly recommend trying the calamari both ways as a starter, and obviously… the wood oven pizzas are to DIE for!!! Overall I had a fantastic experience and will be returning to Ora for patio season!
I always have a good experience when I go to Ora. Half price Monday’s have me returning again and again. Server told me they also have half price wine on Tuesdays! My favourite has the be the saint gnocchi and the Nutella pizza for dessert (enough to share). Everyone is always friendly and very helpful. Overall just a go to on Hess street, with an amazing patio for the upcoming summer months!
