Not bad. Seeing as I was in the mood for soup and my girlfriend was sick I figured trying this place might not be a bad idea. I had the hot and sour seafood soup and she had the tom yum shrimp soup. The soup is tasty and you get a sizeable portion but it’s nothing really special. Especially when you pay close to 30 dollars for two bowls of soup.I would go back but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Like I said, it was tasty but I don’t think it was worth the money.
Got take out today. VERY good. Fast and a good value. I got grilled chicken fresh rolls- firstly- they were actually chicken and veggies and not just filled with noodles like other places. And the peanut sauce to dip with was a unique new twist with a hoisin flavor to it. Also got crispy spring rolls. Fresh and definitely house made. Full of a yummy ground pork and veggie mix. For the main we got 449- a grilled pork and shredded pork vermicelli combo. Very good flavor on both meats and a really nice shred on the one. The traditional sweet vinegar sauce had a unique kick of chilli oil. Not spice but just the right kick. I will eat here again and am looking forward to trying other dishes.
This restaurant sets the standard for vietnamese restaurants, 1 of a kind!. Fact is, I did not even know I liked Vietnamese food until a friend dragged me here and I was blown away. The portions are to die for, the prices are beyond reasonable, and the food is fresh fresh fresh. After a dozen visits, I am hooked on the vegetarian hot and sour soup and the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. My friends all have their own favorites. BUT THERE IS A CATCH. I don’t live in Hamilton and I have tried other vietnamese restaurants in Southern Ontario and none match. Even the ones in Toronto that have the same name (and see to have a family ownership) are a pale pale pale pale imitation. This sets the gold standard I think.
They make a awesome mango milkshake and beef lemon grass with steamed rice its to die for
Mostly mainstream Vietnamese food. If you’re new to Vietnamese food, this place is good to give it a first try. The decor is really nice, and the service is okay. Portions are moderate, but of you’re accustomed to real Vietnamese food, the taste, you’ll find, is lacking. The prices are standard for any Pho restaurant.
Amazing 5 stars. We ordered the Pad thai with Shrimp and Chicken and a large Pho Ga. The portion size was awesome for nine bucks i was able to eat lunch, dinner and a late night snack. The taste was incredable i havent had this good of a pad thai for a long long time. There were lots of protiens in both entrees and we enjoyed getting our money worth. The service was great as they were friendly but stayed out of the way, not bothering us. The place was nice and clean with great decor obviusly going back there soon!
Wtf!!! best place ever. This is one of the best vietnamese place to eat, great people , great menu, good on price.. 100 stars to them
