I love this place. The staff is really friendly and helpful the very first time I ordered and didn’t know what I was doing/ordering (never had pokeh before). Everything is fresh and vibrant, you can see them prepare your meal in front of you. Been back a few times, one of my local favorites.
We got the Classic Signature bowl and IT.WAS.Y.U.M. The only way this could have been better was if we had gotten the Spicy bowl (with spicy mayo and jalapenos!). The Classic Bowl had Ahi Tuna, Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, Green/White Onions, Cucumbers, Black/White Sesame Seeds, Macadamia Nuts on a choice of white or brown rice or cucumber noodles. I chose white rice, of course. We loved the fresh tuna! I had them add some crispy onions and wasabi peas which were soooo good. They had other toppings you can getkimchi, green mangoes, etc. A regular $10 bowl seemed small but it was quite filling. Service was good so you wont mind the line ups. I was also suprised with how little the regular bowl was but it was so filling. Definitely would want to go back whenever I’m in Hamilton again.
First poke bar in Canada! Finally. Super sweet owners bringing a little Hawaiian flavour to the hammer. Tuna was nicely seasoned. And they have pineapple Crush! Def going back to try more.
So glad I can finally fill my cravings for Poke here in Hamilton.Stopped in for a large spicy ahi tuna Poke bowl recently and it instantly brought me back to Hawaii. The staff were friendly, and the tuna was tasty. The spice itself didn’t overwhelm the fish, making it perfect.I’ll definitely be stopping by Pokeh more often!
