Hi..i have been coming to this resturant for so many years..was happy when it was opened on the mountain…moved away and come here when i come into hamilton….but they got a new owner there…and things changed so much since he took over…the food lacks in quailty now..the swarmas is chopped up like baby food..not like before…he is .cheap now on the food you buy….dont get me wrong…i love this resturant so much..but hear your customers …i went there today..got chicken and rice…and was so disappoined in the size and the pita was for baby.s what happened why are you cheating on your loyal customers we liked the previous owner he gave us good food…if i want chopped up baby food i would ask…are you crazy stop cheating your customers…or you will lose all your business…shame on you..for that….hope you read what your customers are saying…it would be a shame to have to close cause of your cheating…..LISTEN TO US……
They’ve really dropped the ball. I used to go here often (3+ times a month). But lately they are using smaller takeout containers and put even less of a serving in there. They chop the chicken into tiny shreds. In their website it shows big chicken chunks….don’t get fooled. The taste is still good. The customer service is terrible, possibly the worst of any shawarma restaurant in town. I usually go to the location on Upper Paradise rd.
They guys need customer service 101 lessions. I’m from out of town traveling and was recommended this place, what a mistake. I order chick and rice combo, took it back to my hotel room to discover hardly any chicken. I went back to ask for another, and I was very nice about it. The night guy was rude and mad, he opened my container without washing his hands and put more chicken. Told me is that enough for your buddy. O.K I gave him a 2 dollar tip 10mins prior and he forgot who I was? Now that’s rude, I’ll never go back. I don’t think it’s nice to insult your customers. The food nothing to rave about, come to Vancouver for a good chicken swarma. These guys need a course in customer service 101
Best Shawarma in Town!. Oh man I love this place! I used to go 3-4 times a week! I still go weekly after all these years. The chicken & rice is amazing! The best shawarma in my opinion. I have had shawarmas at many places in town and Burlington and Toronto as well, but none come close to these ones! My only advice, don’t attempt to eat one of these bad boys in your car, as they are messy! I prefer the ‘stuffed’ pita shawarma over the ‘wrapped’ pita shawarma’s any day. The white sauce is ridiculous! I could drink that stuff from the bottle! You must go here if you want a shawarma! Period.
Love this place!. Safin Grill is our all time favourit shawarma place. We love their home made white sauce it tastes amazing and their salad is always clean and crisp. Good shawarma, great prices and amazing friendly staff. One guy in particular knows us so every time we walk through the door we don’t even have to say anything he already knows what we want:))). If there is a big line up we get our food fast anyway it’s great to be a regular:)
