Best Korean restaurant I’ve found on Main Street so far; very traditional. Their Sam Gye Tang –whole chicken stuffed with ginseng and rice and cooked in broth, is a great thing to have during the winter. The seafood pancake and beef short rib are also pretty good.
My friend introduced me to this restaurant and I’m glad she did! This restaurants food is extremely good, it’s very fresh and tasty, the food is always cooked to perfection. I always bring new friends here and they always enjoy the delicious food. The staff makes this restaurant all the more better! They are very friendly and were easy to talk to. We weren’t Korean and they were helpful and spoke fluent English thank god! Overall I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants some Korean food!
Amazing food fast service. I was very excited to eat at this place seeing as I’ve never had Korean food before.Everything was deliciousWe had the stir fried squid and stir fried marinated pork and tofu seafood soup. Nothing was too spicy, too salty, too sweet, too sour. It all balanced perfectly. The various kimchi they brought us was delicious as well. Breaks up the meal nicely. We were greeted and seated promptly. They also have buzzers at each of the tables to signal when you are ready to order which I thought was genius. I’ll be back for sure. This place will be going on my favorites list.

Very authentic!. I lived in Korea for two years & have to say of all the Hamilton-Korean restaurants, this one comes as close to the real deal, without having to go half way across the world! We had the bibimbap, an awesome rice dish with veggies, an egg, optional meat, that actually cooks while you eat it! Dok boki was also delicious….portions generous & my 8 & 6 year olds enjoyed chicken cutlets with plain steamed rice…cool ambience (lots of TVs showing Korean- pop which the kids enjoyed)…many menu choices & very reasonably priced….only thing missing was a few extra complementary side dishes to make it truly authentic….if you like spicy & sweet, you’ll love this!
Decent but no wow factor. The Famous owl called us last weekend to try some of their Korean cuisine. The first impression we had when walking in was one of total disorganization. Very crowded, which made us assume that it was excellent, with servers running every which way pushing large trolley carts through narrow aisle ways.The food itself was ok. It wasn’t bad, and it wasn’t outstanding. For the price it was decent food that filled us up and left us somewhat satisfied. The servers themselves are dressed very poorly, sweatpants and old t’shirts and it appeared as though the restaurant was also used as a daycare for the workers children which really Peed us off. Nothing worse than having children (3-4 years old) running rampant while you are trying to enjoy your meal.Give it a try once.
Authentic Korean food. This is a perhaps not so well known chain. The food is reasonably priced and quite delicious! DEFINITELY come again. Glad that I no longer have to go to Mississauga or Toronto to enjoy the real deal!!
