Went for supper arriving at 6:00pm – far too early for food to look the way it did in the buffet. Needed to ask server to replenish some items that were empty. Service was … Minimal is the best way to put it- you got what you walked up to server to ask for but nothing more. Food was ok- I think the presentation took away from the dishes unfortunately. (Food in metal table warmers with caked on sides as if it’s been warming since lunch… Which it likely had been. )Nann bread was made fresh and was good. Would I go again… Likely not with other great Indian restaurants in the Hamilton area. But it was worth a try. Suggestions: beef up service ( look like you’re interested in the patrons especially if they are the only ones in the restaurant) and ensure food is fresh and selection is available as labelled.

My husband and I bought a lunch for two wagjag for this place. Without the wagjag in hand we would not have gotten there yesterday. We sat outside from 1130-12. Who opens up for lunch at 12! I also noticed that a few other tables had the same printed copy of the wagjag.Atmosphere- This place is in a sort of strip mall at Paramount just after exiting the linc. The space is large with many tables, Indian style music fills the air nicely. I was excited to try a new Indian place but after what I witnessed here I would be extremely cautious of times when ever going ( If at all again)Food- There is a salad bar with a variety of dishes and the sauces for the samosas ( which were far fro the samosas). There was also 2 carts of warm Indian dishes I hated that you had tomlift the top of every dish to get what you wanted. This makes it awkward . The butter chicken was extremely dry with marginally flavoured sauce. This dish is a staple for a lot of people I know who have limited tastes for Indian cuisine. I did, however, love the tandori chicken Moist and spiced just right. They also had my favourite vegetarian dish- Palak paneer. The cheese pieces large but not plentiful in the watered down spiniach dish. There were other dishes that were meh- good in flavour.. I liked the curry chicken and the samosas. They delivered hot and good naan bread to each table. this was perfect to g with the dishes. My husband enjoyed the dessert balls which I have never liked anywhere.Service- They had one waiter serving a room of at last 10 tables. He was fast but overwhelmed. They should have at least another person removing dirty plates, filling water etc. I am so glad that we were the first group to be in the place because something utterly disgusting happens in this place. I have never witnessed it at any other buffet and I would not eat anything more once I realized what was happening Especially in flu season! People from 5 different tables picked up their dirty plates rather than getting a new one ( some with dirty utensils on the plate) and refilled the plates. Yuck! This is a great way to pass on pathogens. I dont think this is a heath violation or I call the health department. I think it is just poor practice.Impression- We have another wagjag already bought and paid for so I will get there first and fill up plates before anyone has a chance to contaminate my second servings and their germs. Yuck! We will not return again even if the food is good. I will only be back after that for dinners with no buffet option.

I have dined at The Moghul’s on several occasions now. Upon being seated, a carafe of water is brought to the table which is a nice touch. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffet. The buffet has a great selection of meat and vegetarian dishes and they bring fresh naan to your table. My only complaint with the buffet is that they don’t offer chicken vindaloo :p We have also ordered butter chicken as take-out a few times. The butter chicken is a wonderfully creamy dish with more spice than other places I have tried, but not too spicy that it takes away from the dish.

Absolutly delicious. Several work colleagues and I went there for lunch yesterday. We had the buffet at $10.99. The food was displayed well, there was so much choice- salads, fruit. The hot buffet was out of this world- I didn’t count the number of dishes but must have been around 20 of them. Food was piping hot, the spice of each dish was different and intriguing, lots of choices between meat and vegetarian dishes. To top it all off a basket of the freshest naan bread was delivered to out table. Good quality food,, so happy we took a chance and went in,,
