We just had a delicious dinner at the Purple Pear. We got there just before the Ti-Cat game finished which was good because the fans know where to come after the game and the restaurant filled up! I had a Caesar salad and the ricotta and spinach rotollo with a red pepper cream sauce very very good! My husband had a Caesar and Chicken curry with Basmati he loved it! Reminiscent of my old Maxwell’s restaurant days! We finished off with Apple Strudel again yummy!Great spot will definitely recommend! Thanks Victor and Nick nice to see you again!!

Tasteless chewy steak. Medium rare rib eye steak was chewy and tasteless, could not even finish it. Everything else tasted fine. Decor was outdated but really, it’s about the food not decor. Staff very courteous.

Great value!. My partner and I went here for our anniversary dinner and were pleasantly surprised. While the menu doesnt hold too many surprises what they do offer they do it well. I agree with a previous review which states that the crackers are salty but the comparison ends there. I got the rack of lamb, medium rare which was a very good portion and very well made. My SO got the mahi mahi which was equally nice. The desserts (5.95 each) were HUGE!! barely managed to finish them. The service was a bit slow but exceptional. Will go here again as it boasts great value for the price.

The Hidden Gem. We tried this restaurant about 2 years ago and have been regular customers ever since. The staff is courteous, friendly and knowledgable. They make you feel right at home. The food is absolutely supurb, starting even with the great assortment of freshly made breads. My wife and I have tried a great assortment of their menu items and have never been disappointed. I feel very confident that anything I order there will be done to perfection. All of the servers help one another and will be glad to help you at any time. The deserts are also made on site and are fantastic. The biggest surprize of all is the bill. For the calibre of food you receive the price you pay is very, very reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We have taken friends there and they have felt the same way about it. For a great dining experience that doesnt cost you a fortune try the Purple Pear. You will not be disappointed.
