I love greek food so I gave this a try. The food was terrible. The rice was hard , the rest of the meal bland and slightly soggy. The people working there seemed grumpy. The place didn’t look clean. The prices were high for low quality. Would not return.
The place itself is run down. The girl that prepared my meal used her bare hands instead of utensils to make my salad and to take the chicken off the skewer not to mention some of it fell on the floor and she didn’t even replenish it. She was generous with toppings and dressing but I cannot believe she wouldn’t have worn gloves or used a spoon or something to make the food. Their prices are decent but the lack of cleanliness wouldn’t make me be a repeat customer.
We love this place so much.Food- This is what we come for. My husband and I always split a gyro dinner and a gyro because they give enough food to fill us both. The gyros are always on fresh pitas with tzaziki sauce that is perfect. We always get a ton of meat and toppings. The Greek salad comes with dressing, tomato and lettuce , a ton of feta (love feta) and usually 3-4 olives. The French fries are always hot and fresh (never greasy) . The food is why we return every 1- 2 weeks.Service- The brothers that now run this place ( we still see Dad and Mom but they are snowbirds now) banter off each other and the crowd of eclectics that parade in front of them while waiting for their food. This place also has a door to a small local bar so the patrons won’t even get cold going for post drinks munchies. The food is always served on disposable cotainers with plastic forks.Atmosphete- The restaurant has basic tables and chairs with some pictures of Greece on the walls. A guitar like instrument hangs on the wall with an ATM in the corner- nothing fancy here. Now, the reason this place only gets 4 and not 4.5 from me is because of the bathrooms not being so clean. I try to go before I leave my house because they routinely are out of T paper, soap, etc, It isn’t the cleanest bathroom in the world either.We keep going back for the food because it is great!
