The worst dining experience I have ever had! They let multiple people who came in after us get seated first, took over 40 minutes to get our food and they screwed up on two orders. The manager then apologized to us and said the meal was on them and put in a new order for us which was wrong again! I have never walked out of a restaurant not eating the meal in front of me. We waited 2 hours and did not even get to eat. Absolutely terrible.
Wonderful service!. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and what stood out most was the service. I came in early and asked them to have wine ready on the table for when we arrived and if they could do something special for her dessert. Everything was ready when we came, the food was delicious, and they made a wonderful display on her dessert plate and brought it out with a candle. We had a great time!
Nice panzorotti. Good Italian fare. Had panzerotti while while my wife had rapani and sausage pasta dish.
Amazing food. Completely authentic Italian cuisine. I used to go to the one on Upper Ottawa but this location is far superior! Definitely going back!!!
This restaurant is really good. My date had the panzo and said it was amazing. I ordered the gluten free pasta, and the staff seemed really aware about issues around contamination. Most places i have to specify to cook pasta seperately, etc., but they seemed to be keenly aware of all of this. Made dining out a pleasurable experience as opposed to an anxious one due to past experiences with getting sick.Thank you Valentino’s!
Always delicious!. Generally speaking you don’t go to Valentino’s if you’re in a hurry but then again good food takes time. I love the new location. It is much more modern with much better parking though it can be a bit chilly at times. I often go for lunch but when our group can relax and not worry about the time. The straciatella soup is fabulous and is great lunch with a small chef salad. I’ve been going to Valentino’s off and on for over 30 years and the pasta is always excellent but I finally tried the lasagna for the first time and thought I had died and gone to heaven. Beautiful thin layers of lasagna with exquisite sauce and cheese. Yum! They always bring foccacia to the table and its very good but is excellent when it comes warm (though that doesn’t always happen). One of the reasons I come here often is because of a friend who needs the Gluten free options that Valentino’s provides (gluten free pizza and pasta) and they are always great accomodating her needs.While the service may not be the fastest, it is always friendly and gracious.
Won’t go back. Do not like the new location at all. Service was poor, waited twenty minutes for someone to take our order. Food was bland.Went frequently to the previous location and loved it won’t go back to this one
