Brought our kids for a Sunday lunch and we all loved it! Great food and service, and a nice restaurant. The food comes very fast. Will be back soon!
I came here to eat recently with my boyfriend and it was the best sushi experience I have ever had. This was my first time here because it was recommended by friends who come here on a daily basis. Service was wonderful. Especially the one Asian girl with the glasses. She was very polite and respectful. She was very quick with our drinks and when we were almost done eating she immediately checked up on us. All the staff on the floor were also nice. The food was great. I would definitely come back again.
Great All You Can Eat sushi restaurant. This restaurant offers both dim sum and sushi so you can get the best of both worlds! They have some very nice and delicious maki rolls such as the Dynamite roll, blowtorch Tuna and Salmon Takaki rolls. The Sashimi portions are cut bigger than other places Ive been too and still very good. The bacon wrapped asparagus and beef enoki rolls were both my personal favourites. The price of all you can eat for dinner is a bit on the higher end at about $28.99 during the weekends but I think its worth it because they offer a variety of unique rolls that you dont see at other sushi restaurants. Overall, great dining experience. Friendly staff, great ambience and a great customer service. Would definitely go back for some great sushi.
FOOD:We had come here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon at around 1:30 pm. Since it was for lunch, there were certain items that were not available however, most items that we had wanted were available. The Cheese Wonton that I had ordered was good, but a bit mushy, and not too crunchy. The Tempura Handroll was a bit dry, but when dipped in the soy sauce, it was pretty good. The Seaweed Salad was fresh, along with the various maki rolls that we had ordered (the Philadelphia Roll and Crispy Roll were delicious). The Deep Fried Banana Tempura were delicious, with chocolate sauce drizzled on top of them. I found that some of the maki rolls were a bit understuffed, and seemed to be a bit sloppy at times. However, most of the food was quite good, with us feeling quite full as a result of all we had eaten. In all fairness, I did find the August 8 location in Stoney Creek to have food which tasted better and was fresher (this is just my personal opinion though).ATMOSPHERE:The restaurant itselfwas much smaller than the other August 8 locations that we had been to. We did find that there wasn’t a lot of room in-between each of the tables, which made it uncomfortable at times when the servers were trying to walk-by. Also, the table seemed smaller, especially when we had all of the dishes on the table. We did like that this location had the iPad menu ordering system, which was a huge plus, making it easier to place our order.SERVICE:Various servers came to our table to take our plates once we had finished our meals and to bring us our items. They also filled up our water glasses when we asked them to. Each of the people that came to our table were courteous and polite, as was expected. It was recommended that we make reservations for lunch as it can get quite busy therefore, do be sure to make reservations before heading over as you may not get a table. Also, the parking lot is very tiny therefore, try to get there as early as possible in order to get a spot. Or, park in a parking lot nearby and walk over (if permitted).COST: $16.50 Per Person (All-You-Can-Eat Weekend Lunch Buffet) x 4 People = $74.58 (Taxes Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?In all honesty, I wouldn’t return to this location as I didn’t find the food as appetizing as the Stoney Creek location. I would like to try the other locations that I havent been to to see how the food is however, the food here just didn’t satisfy my taste buds enough to bring me back. Also, I found the restaurant much too small and abit uncomfortable.
Excellent dining experience! Wait staff was courteous and attentive, food was brought to the table quickly and was superb. I highly recommend the beef tenderloin and soft shell crab roll. And definitely finish with the banana tempura!
Disappointing. Very limited vegetarian options. Poor service.Bowl of soup (about 3/4 cup each) and some pickled ginger with a cheap bottle of wine came to over $130 for the two of us.Definitely our first and last trip there.Servers seemed confused and disorganized – did not inspire confidence when addressing allergy issues.Other friends have enjoyed, however (food…not servic3)
