My friends recommended this place to me, makes me want to get new friends! I ordered the chicken curry and it was the most un authentic curry I have ever had. It was horrible It’s was like they opened a can of Campbell’s soup and added curry powder. Then to add insult to injury, they used OLD chicken, and threw on some undercooked, hard basmati rice, and potatoes…If I wasn’t starving I would have sent it back.

Good Time. We have been multiple times to the Purple Heather, they have a reasonable selection of English Ales I had Tetley, We had the daily special, smoked brisket flat bread, chef did this on a stovetop pan, and brisket was better than some self proclaimed BBQ Joints. The mains where tasty, we had the grilled sole and grilled chicken breast with risotto. Barman and Chef came over and had a chat, overall good service, good food and we had a good time.
It was alright… Food was marginal. Much nicer places to go to spend $$ & eat English style food.
Love it!! I come here regularly (as I live very close) and alway have a great experience. The menu has recently changed and it’s better than ever! We ordered the spring rolls(pear and smoked Gouda…yum!) and the fresh rolls(lettuce, fresh veggies, and shrimp salad). Both were excellent! As a main I had the chicken bruschetta penne and my boyfriend had the salmon. Again, we loved both. On the weekends there is live music as an added bonus. The servers are always friendly and personable. Oh and there’s even a patio! Thanks for such a great experience:)
HORRIBLE Customer Service!. I took my mother out for her birthday, staff was snobby and seemed like they had a chip on there shoulder. Service was slow had to remind waitress 10 times to bring a drink menu. I will never go back again due to the rude behavior. Worst dinning experience I’ve ever had !!!
