I was in recently and it is all change at this bakery. It is moving in the right directing with more grocery (I used to shop at the candy store Sugar lips) and a new layout. It has always been the best bakery but is making improvements all round, keep up the amazing work guys

Diamond award winning British baked goods, taste better than the stuff back home and made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients where possible!
I understand their main bread & butter business these days is catering, but I was craving a meat pie the other day so I went there, the usual place I go to because they had the best meat pies around for miles. I hadn’t been here for a while now as it’s a little out of the way for the 30 minute lunch I am able to take, but the meat pie was calling me. What the heck happened to this place? I had always grabbed something from GB on the shelves to take home with me for hubby, but there was next to no stock. Oh well, that was disappointing, so I went to the counter to order me a meat pie. No one at the counter so I mulled around for a bit and I finally caught someone’s attention when she saw me and said hello. I said hello back and that was it. So I waited. And waited, all the while she going about her business at the back, no word if anyone would be with me soon or anything. I started a silent countdown and by the time I got to 100 my feet were already headed towards the door. Even if they had the best meat pies and sausage rolls in the world, it would not convince me to subject myself to this shoddy service ever again. I’ll just start baking my own and freezing them.
Dropped in recently for a proper tea and scone,Lovely! !! A great selection of bakery pies and treats. All my favourite groceries from back home. Great selection.
This was by far the worst bakery/cafe that I have ever been too.. The staff was extremely rude and their food tasted frozen. I have heard a lot of things ( not many good ) but thought I should decide for my self.. I’ll never be back here, and I make sure to tell everyone not to go here.
