Went to Lonestar with 18 friends on Saturday to celebrate my birthday. The service and food were deplorable. None of the fajita orders were close to acceptable. 2 burgers were burned. Rice was dry and tasteless. Sour cream was almost non-existant. THe manager sent half of our meals back to the kitchen and gave 2 free meals and a free dessert to me. I will never visit this location again. The food was disgusting. Our waitress couldn’t keep the drink orders straight. Someone came back twice to ask me what it was I ordered. Never again. Birthday dinner ruined.
What a horrible takeout experience! We had purchased dinner for a birthday celebration, and were pretty disappointed when we got home. The sidekick to our fajita meal was missing, half of our brushetta was boxed upside down so all of the topping fell off, and the side of Caesar salad we ordered for another part of the meal didn’t even fill up the container and looked like just a few pieces of lettuce leaves. This is not the first time I’ve had issues at this location. We were disappointed that there didn’t seem to be care taken to fill our order properly.
I can only say two positive things. The staff is friendly and the free chips and salsa. The food is not good at all. I had a beef burrito and it tasted like eating salt. There was a reason I hadn’t been to this place since it opened. I can’t say I won’t go back as I love Tex Mex but it will definitely not be any time soon.
It’s always good to see a restaurant that decides on a personality and sticks to it. I enjoy the cowboy hats and plaid on the servers and a bonus was free chips and salsa to get started. The kicker is the festive country ambiance and AMAZING FAJITAS! Always my go-to restaurant for Tex Mex cuisine.
Don’t waste your money. I went with my husband last night. The menus were stuck together. Thank god I had sanitizer. The food was nothing special it was warm not hot. A little pricey for what you get.
Best Fajitas in Town!!!!!!. Lone Star has the best Fajitas hands down! The fresh tortillas that come with the fajitas are unreal. I would recommend this place to everyone! I also had the Rita Cornita drink which is a Margarita with a cornita bottle in it….. brilliant idea! I will definitely be back, thanks for the great hospitality i will be back fore sure.
Yayyy!!!. This restaurant is Fantastical. My favorite item to eat on the menu is the Cabo Tacos. All the flavors mashed together make for a party in my mouth!!!!!!I would suggest to any familys, looking for a great kid friendly atmosphere.
