I went to the Bruce today with my friend for lunch and we both ordered the Caesar Salad. The waitress said it is very unique. when we got it we could see the caesar salad dressing on the salad but there was also balsamic vinegar as well. While I like Balsamic vinegar that is the first time I have seen it on a Caesar Salad and it ruined it. Why would they not say there would be balsamic vinegar with it when they described to salad. Sorry not a good choice. The waitress did not even ask why the salad had not been eaten. Some good waitress will ask if there were any problems. Sadly we did not explain because we were busy talking.
Nice restaurant. Very good place for lunch and business meeting.
Valentines Day. Enjoyed a great valentines day meal here with my wife. We enjoyed everything thoroughly. We will be back.
Valentines Day. My boyfriend took me out here valentines day. They had a great Italian menu running. We enjoyed fresh pasta’s, chicken, veal, salads and the best chocolate cake i’ve ever eaten (trust me on chocolate!) Would reccomend for any special occasion and we will be back!
Brutally bland food but not a bad drink selection and one of the only bars around that makes a proper old fashioned.
Hidden Gem or not. My wife and i randomly decided to try this place out. The food was great. Good selection and reasonable prices.The gentleman who served us was very friendly and easygoing.will be back soon!Update: We have since been back and what a change. Our food was cold, sloppy and bland. Our server, an older Australian lady was absolutely rude. Not sure what to think. Very inconsistent.
