This is the place we go when we don’t feel like cooking dinner. You get an incredible, fresh & tasty sandwich for $3.99! How can you go wrong. the service is also really pleasant and we normally sit at the bar, eat & watch whatever sports game they’re playing on tv. Our favourite neighbourhood place.
A Hidden Gem on Wellington West. In house roasted meats are great, especially the Porchetta with the Pickled onions on grilled focaccia. By far the best cheese selection in the city, prepared meals , fresh pasta, sauces and homemade sausages. Some tasty Lavazza Coffee and fresh filled canoli….
Took family from our of town here for some sandwiches. Even from those that only cost 3.99, they were amazing. Service was great. The focaccia bread may be worth the extra 50 cents. It was amazing pressed. Believe me, for 3.99 plus any extra special toppings, you cannot go wrong. Honestly, far fresher tasting than the D sandwich place. As I live around her, this is now my only quick bite destination. No need for anything else. Best value around, hands down.
Finally – a non-pretentious cafe in Westboro with great service!. Went here for sandwiches and dessert. Everything was amazing and very reasonably priced! The coffee was really good too. The desserts were better than some of the nearby snooty bakeries that charge a lot more. The big difference with this place is – along with reasonable prices and good food (hard to get in Westboro) – they have great service! Everytime I’ve gone here, the people are so friendly. That’s even harder to get in Westboro!! Hope they don’t change a thing.
One of the best Italian sandwiches in Ottawa! Freshly shaved meats and cheeses paired with friendly service makes this place one of my favourite lunch spots! The porchetta sandwich is amazing! Highly recommend for a quick sandwich on the go, or a sit down sandwich and peroni!
Excellent sandwiches!. I’ve been going there for about a month for lunch and their sandwiches are excellent. Real quality deli meat. In particular their half-pound porchetta sandwich on foccacia bread is one of the best sandwiches in Ottawa, in my opinion. Definitely a must try for deli lovers.
Simply enjoyable. Great place for a coffee or an espresso, or to enjoy some of the myriad of enjoyable choices from the deli counter. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make for a great place to chill with a friend or two. Really like it after their recent renos
