Had not had an opportunity to eat here before since they use to only open after 5. Walked by one day and day they were open for lunch, so a bunch of us decided to go in and check it out. We were quite glad we did. Service was very good food was great. A cool atmosphere and soundtrack made it all right :)Everyone was pleased with their meals, definitely worth checking out! (Especially while they are open for lunch and the crowds haven’t figured it out yet)

We arrived on a Thursday night around 630 and didn’t leave until 830. The wait times were a bit ridiculous. It look about an 30 mins to get our drinks. There were 4 of us. Didn’t get our appetizers until an hour after we arrived and didn’t get served dinner until an hour and a half. They weren’t serving ribs because they were still cooking. We ordered the mac and cheese and a kale salad and both were really good. For dinner we had two orders of the beef brisket, chicken and waffles and the burger. The burger and chicken and waffles were good. The brisket on the other hand was I’m assuming was rushed because it was similar to roast beef. Overall this place has potential, but the wait times are ridiculous. The 3 other people I went with agreed that they probably wouldn’t choose to go there again. With the wait times and how we can get BBQ in other places in Ottawa that are a lot better not our number one choice. I think they’ll have a chance if the new kitchen gets up to speed.
