We shared Supreme Nachos and a Poutine. The Nachos were big and pilled heavy, but were very soggy and had what seemed to be an entire can of beans on top. Tasty but average at best because the execution was poor. The Poutine was not great either. Fried were frozen not fresh, and th gravy tasted like it was from a can, and not home made. Nothing was disgusting or anything like that… just very mediocre at best so I think 2.5 is fair.
It’s a chain-style big box-mall concept without actually being a chain. Somewhat of an Ottawa landmark for decades, this place gives you the bar and grill atmosphere with a large bar, patio and the expected grill menu items.Sort of a hold over from the 1990’s you get the feeling you’ve gone back in time. Frozen drinks and crazy cocktails line the bar menu, while the burgers and main menu dishes are just what you’d expect. Good family vibe fun restaurant that has hung in there over the years.
We went here on a business the hostess was very nice the server but tried the food wasn’t that good at all. The ribs would not be recommended by my friends I had a steak that was alright one of the guys had fish and chips and was very good.
