Chicken charga over the rice was really delicious as it is known for. Dining area was congested and our family of seven were accommodated on a large table.
Amazing food and service! I would surely go here again and recommend it to friends and family. All of their menu items are delicious but my favorite is chicken charga and also afghani naan.
As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting, a delightful atmosphere and the luxuries of modernity. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering meals. I had the Charga chicken with rice while my friend had spicy malai kebab. They were exquisite. Followed by a delicious badam kheer for dessert. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The chefs take great care in selecting the best quality ingredients.All my friends and family always cater from their restaurant for a party or a get-together. We love to dine in and take out from this restaurantand eat quite regularly here. The service is good on the whole and the staff is helpful when you turn up with small children although being quite crowded.Overall Great dinner, highly recommended for going out with friends, the owner is super friendly too.
Grilled chargha is good but the gravy items are average. Worst part is however the behavior of the owner / staff there, it is like you are not buying food but he is handing out charity to you. Nose in the air, snobbish and rude behavior.

I have tried a few other items at Dawat e Khaas but none of those is good. However, the main item, due to which this place has got so much popularity, is Chargha served on a bed of rice. The chargha is amazing and mouth watering. We also order Special Naan with chargha, which is one of the best naans I have had outside Pakistan. I live in downtown Toronto and this place is quite far for me, however, I have still gone there many times. Having said that, while the chargha is amazing, the attitude of the people there is really bad. It used to be good, however, as the sales and popularity have picked up, their attitude has not only become bad, but also disrespectful. That certainly gives you a bad experience. I hope the owner of the restaurant can see this review and learn that things do not always remain the same. They could see a sharp downfall of the place if the attitude does not improve and get back to where it used to be. Pride is good but being snobbish is not. If attitude wasn’t that bad, I would have rated 5 for chargha.
