Confused by the manager’s response. Four of us went for diner, 3 ordered the prime rib. Two were okay for meat/fat ratio but mine was very fatty. My pile of fat was at least 3 times larger than my friend’s plates. Mentioned it to the waitress who in turn told the manager. Manager came over and stated that their prime ribs are normally fattier than other places and that he liked a fattier prime rib himself. The fellow covered my beer and dessert which was very nice. I can normally eat steaks including the marbelling (that should be fine lines of fat) but chunks of fat are not enjoyable nor easy to digest. For dessert, we ordered the hot apple crumble with a scoop of icecream. Waitress brought the dessert and warned us that the skillet was very hot. My wife had a taste and it was cold. I touched the skillet and it was room temp. Friends suggested I complain but felt bad complaining about a free dessert. Don’t think we will be going back anytime soon.
