In the box service. I’m sitting here at Don Cherrys as I write. I asked the waitress for a beer, corn chips and salsa. I got a confused look that they don’t have corn chips & salsa. They do, however, have nachos (which actually contains the first two ingredients of my failed order). I should have asked for nachose. Hold the baking hold the cheese and salsa on the side. My bad. Anyhoo they aren’t the only ones who can’t function outside the box. I’ve had this pathetic service at other major chains too.
Great food.. Terrible Bartender. Food and beveridges great but girl bartender in long dark hair was slow and terrible.. seemed lide you had to go ask for another drink and it always seemed like a burden for her to serve you. Didnt want to leave a tip but left $2 on a $40 bill. she was grumpy and rude at that.. Tip goes with the service.. I wont be back
Great natchos and service. My favourite place for game days ! Cross the boarder natchos rock sala on the side. They have great bar food and great service.
Great Sports Bar with Excellent Servers. So Im new the Katimavik region of Kanata and I wandered into the restaurant around game time to watch the Sens. I sat at the bar and immediately the very friendly bartender asked me what I was having for a drink and the owner offered me a sweet and spicy wing to try on the house. I loved them so much that I ordered them with their ribs. Im glad I did. The meal came out hot and the plate was full! Along side my two mains were sweet potato fries and chipotle aioli. Let’s just say I have a big appetite but I could barely finish the plate. The bartender was extremely friendly and yes, while they are young and attractive, they are also very attentive to their customers. The owner was extremely courteous and seemed to know the locals quite well. I’ve been in a lot of sports bars over the years and while this is place follows the same mold, it was enjoyable place to sit down, have a pint and some wings and watch a game without feeling rushed or pressured to purchase more alcohol. Will Return. Finally got around to trying this place out. Went for dinner and to catch a Saturday night hockey game. Overall visit was disappointing, but I would try it again.The building is nice and set up pretty well. Unfortunately, we got seated at a table that wasn’t in prime viewing for the hockey game. We didn’t make a big deal about it, but you’d think when a few guys come in wearing hockey shirts they’d want to watch the hockey game. Probably best to mention you would like to watch the game.The beer selection was good. Good prices. The food selection was good, but I felt a little expensive for what you get. Good food though.The atmosphere was interesting. Overall it was ok, but there was one table in which every guest was drunk. Even knocking over and breaking glasses. A gentlemen went over, who I assume was the owner, to talk to them. I assumed he was going to tell them to settle down or leave, but he just encouraged them more and was all chummy with them. I don’t know if he knew them or what, but I found that odd. Little uncomfortable sitting next to a table like that with glasses being broken. The staff was prompt to clean up the mess though.The service was good. I’ve seen better and seen worse. Overall, this place seems like a decent place to watch the game, have a meal, and drink a few beers. I’d like to go again and give this place another shot.
Bar is filled with day drunks and awful servers.. one girl needs to start serving cokes instead of using it
