Been coming here for 6 years now and it’s a great spot in Kanata. Food is always fresh, homemade, and tasty. Service is personable, and they have a head on their shoulders, they actually know the menu and how to do proper wine service. Portions are generous, and the desserts are all homemade and tasty.
Great first experience!. We went last night for dinner and we were very impressed. The service was great and the atmosphere inside is really nice. Both of our dishes were served promptly and both were very fresh and piping hot. We had the house made donut for desert which was delicious. I highly recommend trying this place. We’ll be back for sure!
Very Good food. Stopped by before the game Monday evening with my wife for a quick meal, walked away very happy and impressed. We both had the veal marsala which was done perfect, and shared the warm dessert which was amazing. Service was very good, we told them we are going to the game and they made sure we were fed and out the door in time to beat the traffic.Will def. be back soon!
My favorite Kanata restaurant. I went with my bf on a Saturday night with a groupon. Best calamari ever! Crunchy but melts in your mouth and very tender. Also, never skip a meal here without at least trying their bread. It is individually wrapped in aluminum foil for maximum garlic butter absorbency -it is to die for!
Excellent Food and Service!. Our family just LOVED the food and the service was perfect!Can’t recall having a better meatballs. Best in the city we say..We give it a 9.9 on 10. Highly recommend

Very best Italian restaurant by far in Ottawa’s west end. This exquisite, cozy restaurant has never, ever disappointed me for either lunch or dinner. You can taste the fresh ingredients that are often accompanied by a visit from the owner, and can only matched by attention to detail from the attentive staff. Forget every other place, and try La Cucina. It provides all the elements of what fine dining should be – but with no pretense!
