Worst food in the world – worst service. Racist, cheap, not a customer friendly place. Do not eat here. It’s not worth a cent. I wouldn’t eat here again if they paid me 1 million dollars lol can I give negative ratings?
Horrible. Small portion size, too salty, and expensive. The food was super westernized, disappointed. Never ever again; save your money. Kanata needs more authentic Chinese restaurants.
Never Again. Food smelled bad and tasted even worse. Spring rolls super greasy and we couldn’t even chew through them. Other dishes were the worst of this type of food we’ve ever had. Despite the high prices we ended up throwing most of it out. Very disappointed. Don’t normally write reviews but felt thus was necessary.
Less than Average. Was there for lunch on 4th of June. Everything we ate had no flavour. BlandWon’t be returning. They’ve gone downhill from average to less than average
Didn’t want to make this review but couldn’t help myself this is the third time I have called to order food from them and staff acts as if I am bothering them… just called to order a simple soup and person said that they were closed when there website clearly says there closed at 10pm… fyi I called at 915pm i will never I mean NEVER go back to this restaurant
Food good. Well, I’m reading all the negative reviews and I am surprised. First time we decided to order. Was there October 26th to pick up food. Very apologetic, gave me a time of 45 minutes. Arrived a couple of minutes early and order was ready a few minutes late. Crispy Beef, Shanghai Noodles, Ginger Chicken and a couple of egg rolls. Rolls were excellent, Crispy Beef was all beef and lots of it, some heat, tasty, very good value with no vegetable — I suppose I could complain that there were no veggies, but why? Ginger Chicken mostly chicken with vegetables, some heat, tasty, maybe too heavy on the ginger. Noodles, sub standard. The crazy thing was HOW much food was packed into each container, fed two of us for three meals. I knew when I picked up the bag by the weight there was a lot of substance. Considering there aren’t a lot of other Chinese food places in Kanata North, I’m surprised at the comments, I guess cold or reheated food from Hazeldean or Bells Corners is preferable given the driving time. The comments of picking up Chinese from Sobey’s next door is a mystery to me. Maybe I’ll need to try that?
Just came back from diner with my family. We ordered the BBQ pork but found it too fatty so sent it back. While paying the bill, the pork was on the bill so we said if we’re going to pay for it, then we’ll just take it home. We were then told that it was already reused in another order! This pork sat at our table for at least 10 min while we debated taking it back?!? The owner was also VERY rude to my wife who was trying to remain pleasant, even after realizing they Re sure used food. This is really unfortunate since the hostess was very nice. Normally it’s the staff that will turn you off a restaurant, in this case it’s the attitude and business practices of the owner. Yup, it was the owner who told us they already repackaged our returned meat. I hope the hostess finds a new job and I recommend no one eats at this establishment.
