Great noodles. Every time when I don’t feel like making dinner, I come down to this nice little restaurants to order take outs. I like the wide noodles they serve and the portion is plentiful for $11.
Poor service and ok food. Food was nothing special and service was incredibly unfriendly. 1st time customer and will never return again. Had a vegetarian pho with tax was about $10.45. Not really worth the money. Sprouts were all broken and seemed a day old. Went during lunch, seemed busy enough for fresher food. Check out Kanata Noodle House on hazeldean and terry fox. I’ve never been disappointed with the food and service. Plus as a bonus, the same pho there is $8!!

In cooked chicken. My colleague had lunch special. Curry chicken. Chicken was very pink inside. He showed the waiter who didn’t agree it was undercooked. My lunch was a pork on vermicelli and was good. So it’s a mixed bag.24 Aug, 2013I went here allot in the past and liked it but last 2 visits turned me off. First one on takeout no utensils were provided. When i went back they acted like it was my fault for not asking. How does one eat pho without utensils exactly? 2nd visit the next day on take out the chicken in the chow mein was so undercooked some was raw inside! I was far away i didn’t return. I almost served it to our kids. Good thing i still cut up their food. Of they could have gotten ill. I am sad to say they really have gone downhill. I am sure the tech heads will keep going though. With their heads in the clouds they will never spot undercooked food anyhow.
Always guaranteed great testing food. Phu Yen is my family’s favourite restaurant! We can always depend on great testing food.We usually order take out, as lunch time is very busy but we can always get a table in the evenings.We have been enjoying Phu Yen for over 5 years and the food has always been perfect. The special soup really warms you up on these winter days!
Tasteless food & terrible service. I went to this restaurant with my colleague for many time as my office not far from there. The soup there is tasteless comparing to other restaurants. Then I tried fried rice but the rice was undercooked even it had raw rice grain, then I complained about that with owner, he acted like not their fault, that food was okay. Just like I made fault claim for them, then I left full disc. Another time, I ordered again and funny that everything happened the same, undercooked fried rice, complaint and owner didn’t accept your complaint.Service was terrible. Since there are high tech people don’t know other place to go rather than jammed themselves in that restaurant. That’s why those waiters and waitress there don’t care to serve you as valued customers. They don’t care to lose a few customers. I won’t go back there any more and I also let my friends know about that.
Great lunch. Crazy busy all lunch time long, but worth it. Really tasty Cantonese dishes. Got for the beef with noodles in black bean sauce #180. Get there early if you go at lunch hour, the high tech sector packs the place out the door.
