In the region for work, decided to stop by this diner with my partner. Ordered a smoked meat sandwich platter….Montreal style they say. A big joke. So little smoked meat in the sandwich completely ridiculous. Seemed like a pouch of Coorsh smoked meat bought at Loblaws was boiled in order to make my sandwich. No Dijon mustard in the diner. Pathetic lunch…never again. Did not rock for me.
Came with my wife for breakfast and was a little disappointed. I had the western omelette and it was very bland with no seasoning at all. Homefries need plenty of work. If you’re going to deep fry, at least out some garlic salt or even salt and pepper on them. My wife had poached eggs that were supposed to be cooked medium and came out cooked soft and had the same issue with the homefries. The rye bread was great though. We were also never asked if we wanted refills on our tea and coffee. Won’t be visiting this location again.
