The cookery has the most delicious breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The ingredients are super fresh and everything is home made. The banana bread is great and I adore the pig and fig lunch sandwich. All the coffee is fair trade and terrific.

The Cookery served a party of 16 for a work function – and impressed everyone!Their sandwich and salad platters are healthy and delicious. Not only did their platters satisfy and impress everyone, but the Cookery went above and beyond to cater to the needs of a team member who has a severe dairy allergy. They insured the sandwich would not be cross contaminated, and wrapped it in a separate package for us.Great service, excellent food, and definitely worth a return visit.
When in Kanata, this is where I grab lunch!!! Darren is always friendly and the food is great. I love food and I am a foodie 🙂 The soups, salads and sandwiches are not your basic choices. They are flavourful and he puts his spin on a classic. I had the Waldorf salad and it was amazing! Never disappointed Thanks Darren
Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices, what more does one need?. I work in the building and have eaten many a delicious meal from The Cookery, courtesy of Darren. Our mornings are blessedwith the cooking aromas eg smoked maple bacon permeating the building. The bistro has been a wonderful addition to our building, and Darren’s humour takes the edge off of a long work day.
Great find!. Second time visiting this cozy restaurant today and it was spectacular! I’m not much of a sandwich person but this place has me smitten! Also great for anyone who needs lunches for work meetings and guests!Please check this place out if you get the chance or live/work in the neighbourhood!
