If you are considering to go to aji sai to get sushi, I’d reconsider, unless you want quantity over quality. -the quality of the sushi is not good…the fish on the sushi is quite thin and the rice tends to be over seasoned with vinegarThe kitchen food is ok!
This is a horrible restaurant. The food is ok at best and the service is absolutely atrocious. They gave us the wrong order of food 4 times, and they never came by to ask us how we were doing or if we wanted more. On top of that they were rude and short with us when they did take our order (which we had to flag them down to do). Would not recommend this place to anyone, do yourself a favour and DO NOT GO.
Went to Aji Sai for a Monday night dinner. The ambiance was nice and the food was excellent. While we were trepidatious about the service having read previous reviews, the service we received was a pleasant surprise. The servers were attentive and courteous.
They give your left over sushi to other people and if you order to much the owner told us do not order them if you dont eat them he is really rude. The bathroom is really dirty, service is poor and they dont smile, they just want the money, they dont care about you. I dont recommend this place. They need food inspection and salubrity to visit them, and shut their door.
Good Food, Bad Service. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times, each time very disappointed with the services provided – or lack there of.I understand that this is a very popular and busy spot, however, that does not excuse the fact that our waiter was too busy talking to his group of friends – who were also eating there – to take our order. Countless times our table was ignored by this individual because he was too focused on socializing with his buddies (and eating off of their plates). The food was decent, but it was definitely not worth being ignored by the staff.
Terrible. Worst dinner experience20 Jan, 2015Worst experience. I went to Ajisai over the weekend with some friends and it was the WORST Dining experience i have EVER had. The waitress so utterly dissrespectful to the fact that we had to inform the manager. We barely got any of our orders and it was overall just a bad experience. never going there again.
It was good until TODAY. I’ve been to this restaurant a lot of times. The service was great and the manager attended to us most times as well as the waiters. But today, was the worst. The service has definitely dropped. We didn’t get half our order, had the most disrespectful waitress ever and the manager handled it horribly. My friends and I are never going back (I love the Aji Sai’s outside Kingston).. I guess the bus ride over to Sakura will be worth it now.
