This is my favourite place in Kingston for Middle Eastern food! I came here for dinner with my friend and the service was quick, friendly, and went above and beyond (my friend and I received a free soup and dessert!). They are also very accommodating for dietary needs, with many vegetarian options available. Highly recommend, and I will be back for sure!
Great little restaurant in the downtown kingston area. Food was fantastic and the owner made a vegetarian friendly dish for me to enjoy.Their garlic potatoes are heavenly, as is their Baba ghanoush. The tea is also a must try! Their service was impeccable(we got a free dessert, too!), I will definitely be coming back.
Ali Baba Kabab is a restaurant you must experience. It is a small, family business run by Ala, who is often seen welcoming and chatting up guests. Him and his staff create a very warm and friendly environment, which is amplified by the beautiful decor of the place. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by staff that bring you the complimentary delicious signature ali baba tea with your menus.The food is all home made in the kitchen, including all the dips, kebabs and their signature, delicious garlic potatoes. I really enjoyed their falafel as an appetizer, and highly recommend the dips and salads platter to get you started and acquainted with the variety of appetizers they offer (baba ganoush, hummus, garlic dip, dolma, garlic potatoes, and falafel), all for around $10! My go-to main dishes are the juicy, savoury kebabs, including the shish kebab, which is grilled and seasoned filet minon. I recommend the deluxe sultani to have a taste of both the alibaba kebab (chicken breast) and the shish kebab. All the kebabs come with a side of soup or salad, and I recommend the lentil soup! They also serve shwarma plates and an assortment of wraps that are equally delicious.If you are in a hurry, they do take out or delivery of the exact same menu that is for dine-ins.The one thing about Ali Baba is that you always leave with a smile and a (very!!!) full belly after! 🙂
Food is freshly served and delicious. Service is attentive and quick. One of our regular haunts. We especially enjoyed the Ali Baba chicken salad, and felafel plate. Excellent value.

I go to ali baba since 2013 and I have never stop. They treat people like family, very welcoming and friendly. Their party platter is unbelievable and so affordable, I can’t think of another place where I can get house made quality food at a decent price. I love ali baba kabob !
