Take out sushi place: it’s good to see that they have an open kitchen. But I’d like to see more fish in these rolls…I just dont think there are enough fish!
Super delicious and reasonably priced! Love coming here to grab fresh food on the go. If you are not familiar with the different types of rolls, go for the roll platters for a variety of rolls :).
Average rolls. Fast order. Prices are a bit cheaper than other places, but size of rolls are smaller. Would come by for quick takeout if in a rush!
Hands down the best sushi in Kingston! By only serving delivery and takeout they are able to also able to offer the best price available. You only need to go once to meet Kevin, the owner and chef, and start a personal relationship with him. He will go above and beyond to remember your likes and dislikes and cater you accordingly. Awesome Sushi, Great Price!
Choi’s roll is easily the cheapest and by far the best rolls in Kingston. They have a very simple and popular selection of rolls available. They only serve delivery and takeout. The owner and head chef, Kevin, is extremely friendly and always open for a chat. I believe Kevin was the original chef and owner of Izumo sushi in town. He disappeared for a while, but now he’s back! Good luck finding someone as passionate about their quality and product anywhere else in Ontario.
This place only does take out and delivery – it’s not a place to sit down and eat.One thing I like about Choi’s Roll is that it is significantly cheaper than any other sushi places in Kingston, with all rolls under $10. However, in terms of selection, there isn’t much variety, as most of the special rolls have the same base rolls – california or dragon – without much deviation. There is also not much selection for nigiri or sashimi. So if that’s what you’re craving, this is not the place. In terms of roll quality, it is actually quite good. Some of the rolls were loosely wrapped, but flavor-wise it was quite good. So if I ever feel like just a couple of rolls for takeout, I would definitely come back.
