Feels Like Home. This place feels like home. At most dinner hours the place has varying types of patrons, from young children, to 20 somethings, and seniors. The food is run of the mill pub fare, but is consistent and service comes with a smile. Always a safe bet for a relaxed meal with friends/family.
Food isn’t great, you can definitely get better food in Kingston for the same price. Basically pub food for family restaurant prices.

My personal classic restaurant. Copper Penny is one of Kingston’s unique downtown restaurants that I’ve loved for years. The locals go here because it is a classic. The place is a little tired on the inside and the bathrooms feel like they need an update, but I still go for the food. Its definitely my comfort when I come visit Kingston.

Great place!. Copper Penny has been one of my favourite restaurants since coming to Queens three years ago. Whenever I have friends or family come up from Brantford to visit, that is the first place I recommend. They have a very large menu with plenty of incredible options, two of my favourites being the Peppercorn burger and the Wings and Ribs combo. The service is always amazing, with friendly staff and a homey environment. The one fall back is that I was able to have mushroom only once over the past few months and I am still waiting for it to be the soup of the day as it rarely makes an appearance. Love this place, definitely recommend.
