Have always had a good experience with their takeout. LOVE the fried rice, egg rolls, general tao, and shanghai noodles. Mmm. I find it’s more fresh and less greasy than the other places I’ve tried in Kingston.
Terrible delivery service. We places an order at 7 and barely got the order in until they hung up. We waited 2 hours… Turns out they never even put the order in and the lady forgot . Never get delivery at this place…they denied even taking my call. Very disappointed to say the least.
Rip off!. I order something and had to repeat myself 4 times because the woman on the line didn’t understand what I was order. It’s a letter and a number… how hard is it to understand. I also asked for a large steamed rice. When I got my order they gave me something completely different then what I asked for and no rice. 30$ for something I couldn’t even eat because it was too damn spicy! HORRIBLE
Eat in and Take Out. The quality of the food for both Eat In and Take Out was surprisingly great. The food and prices are incredible. We have tried several dishes and cannot come up with a favorite because they are all equally good. I have been in when the son came in for lunch from school and it was a pleasure to watch them put work on hold for a few minutes to cater to him. Definitely try it!!!
Worst Food Ever (cont’d). I would also like to point out that the veggies in the fried rice are just frozen peas and carrots, and yet they were still undercooked. and it is ridiculously expensive for the quality of the food, especially when you’re just getting frozen veggies. any one who’s posted a review on here saying the food’s good, will obviously eat anything, because this is only dumpster worthy.25 Mar, 2014Worst Food Ever. Last night i got chicken chow mein, and there was no noodles, just beansprouts, literally a couple pounds of just beansprouts. i also got honey garlic spare ribs, that were super tough, and i also got chicken fried rice, the rice in most places were rock hard and the veggies were under-cooked. oh yeah and the egg rolls have a weird taste to them and soaking in grease. all in all, this is literally the worst restaurant i’ve ever been to in my entire without doubt. im literally shocked a restaurant can make such bad food yet stay open.
Best general Tao chicken an veggie steamed rice ever sweet and sour chicken balls are good the sauce could use a little work but all in all great food way better then VIP
Thai craving not satisfied …. Living in the West end and being stuck without a car, I found myself looking online for takeout options to treat myself to some thai/cambodian after a long week. Normally Mango or Pat’s is where I’ll go but Mango was closed and Pat’s doesn’t deliver. The reviews were decent for this place so I ordered. I have to say I was disappointed. I ordered a red curry chicken on steamed rice, and what came was a brown slightly spicy store bought bottle-type sauce over rice with some shredded carrots and crushed peanuts. I expected much more flavour and content. I ordered spring rolls too, which were alright, not the best. I won’t be ordering from here again for Cambodian/Thai. On the plus side, the delivery was quick and the service was wonderful. Delivery girl was super friendly. But I paid way too much for food that has me hesitant to eat the leftovers 🙁
