It’s an alright place for a nice Italian meal. The servers are friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was decent but I expected better. Pricing was not bad though.
Great place. Every meal comes with a salad (Caesar is the best) and the wine menu is unreal! Food comes hot, large portions and GREAT STAFF! Definitely a place to stop in while you visit Kingston.
Coming from Montreal we are not used to slow service, watered down sangria, mediocre pizza, and rubbery crab and calamari – especially for that price !
Amazing Experience/coming from Ottawa. We went in for a late supper and were greeted promptly and warmly despite the closing of the kitchen, Our waiter Liam was experienced knowledgeable and quite attentive the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Everything was fresh. My husband ordered the surf and turf and I had the seafood fettuchini. We were not rushed to leave and the environment was beautiful
omantic and clean. We will definately be coming back!
Very disappointed…. Worst Italian restaurant I ever been in Canada. Came to celebrate my wedding anniversary and I deeply regred. Left 1/2 of my plate could not finish.

Disappointing. My daughter came home from US for summer vacation and was excited to eat Italian more so at Frankie Pesto. As being midweek we got table of our choice. Server was courteous and gave us enogh time to decide. We ordered for main course which comes with ceasar salad and bread. Salad was soggy –soggy –we were shocked –how a restaurant can serve such bad quality of salad — it was reflection of poor supervision or cost restriction?. We informed the server and he acknowledged — but did not take any action of informing manager. I was restrained by my wife not to make an issue. Food served was also below average —.Avoid this restaurant atleast during midweek.
