The smokehouse, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Nothing mediocre here – everything was a cut above compared to other burger places – dill coleslaw was awesome, the burger was to perfection, great bbq sauce, fries with malt vinegar and sea salt, excellent choice of beer, and great service. Topped off with a Kawartha Dairy chocolate milkshake. Wow.
Great burgers! The beef (local, family farmed) was delicious. Friends had turkey and chicken and loved it as well. Pretzel bread is great. Vanilla Ice cream (included in kids meal) delicious! Friendly service.
Great restaurant with awesome good and nice waiters! I’m personally not a big fan of burger but I decided to give this restaurant a shoot because it looks so tasty, and it’s worth to try and I will definitely come visit again. I ordered the combo called delicious with gluten free bun and the chicken.
Best burgers in the city. For some reason, a lot of people prefer the works which may be because they have excessive options and combinations. Yet in terms of quality, these guys are top notch. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t try the gourmet fries. They will change your perception of what a good fry tastes like.
Great little burger joint. Reasonably priced for a specialty restaurant. Good service. Some decent craft beer (although they should get some local beer in – Stone City Ales is just down the street!) Definitely a great little spot to check out in Kingston!
The price of the food at Harper’s Burger Bar does not reflect the quality of the product. Yes, there are interesting toppings, decent food and a university town hipster vibe going on that is kinda cool in this place. However It cost me 20.00 for a basic burger and side salad with tax and tip. I find this price point quite high for the product. Additionally, if your a vegetarian stay away from the chickpea burger. The greasiest thing I’ve eaten in 2015 for sure.
Interesting selection of burgers and drinks. A+ for eating locally and sustainability. The burgers themselves are only okay, nothing special for that price. The service is extremely slow here. However, the one thing I really do like here is the deep fried pickles.
