The portions are really small, or, they cheap out by giving you vegetables and very little meat. The honey garlic ribs, while they tasted good and were not dried out, there was seven of them in a full take out order. The general tao chicken, once again, lots of broccoli, very little chicken. The egg rolls were good. Will probably never order from this place again because it was not worth the money. I paid just over fifty dollars, excluding tip and delivery, and there was barely enough food to feed one. Like I said, a full order of honey garlic ribs had seven small pieces.

We have been ordering from Ho Lee Chow (now Great Chow) on and off for years. I’ll admit that if I wanted authentic Chinese food that wouldn’t be the place to go to…but I love chicken balls…and only chicken balls, so it is a compromise…I get their chicken balls and the rest of the family order other dishes.Friday night I ordered my standard (family wasn’t home)…I asked how long it would take because I was in a hurry and if they were behind I didn’t want to be rushed. The woman said about 20 minutes to half and hour…and she was true to her word…but, the driver forgot the debit machine. I had specifically requested to pay by debit. He called back to the store to look for a solution and I ended up spending 10 minutes on the guy’s cell talking to someone else at the store who kept asking me if I had money or a credit card…NO…that’s why I requested debit. She suggested that he go back to the store and get the debit machine and then bring the food back. I told her that wouldn’t work because I was in a hurry…and now I have wasted 10 minutes.I sent the guy away. When I got in the house, my phone was ringing…it was Ho Lee Chow…the guy was on his way back and they would send the debit machine the next day.Fine…I was now hungry and still rushed for time.I scarfed back my chicken balls…and I had in the past noticed that there was less and less chicken in there…but this time took the cake…two of them I don’t even think there was any chicken…if there was, I certainly didn’t see or taste it.The next day the woman called to set up a time to bring the debit. I complained about the food and the service.I’m not sure if it was a nervous giggle or if she truly didn’t care…but she giggled throughout the entire conversation….even when I told her she had lost a customer. My family ordered from there usually once a month at about 60-70 dollars a meal. It’s not a make or break for them…but now I’m sure to tell everyone I know about the crappy service…Ho Lee Crap…..where was the chicken

Attrocious. Also known as Great Chow, this restaurant has provided me with the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve had yet to experience–bar none, and I’ve eaten a lot of Chinese food. First off, I’ll just say that the dishes were practically tasteless. Generic and they seriously felt like they came out of a frozen box. There are definitely no Chinese people in that kitchen, and if there are, they are disgracing their own native cuisine. I ordered a lemon chicken dish which came smothered in a vat of sauce, and besides the sauce, a good 75-80% of the dish was vegetables, AKA not what I payed for. This was several months ago so I can’t exactly remember what else I ordered, but that alone should explain much of my experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NOT IN THE LEAST BIT AUTHENTIC.
