Christmas buffet. The biggest waste of money my family has spent. salad options: spinach or apple, spinach was bitter, apple was not a fan my many as the bowl was full all the time. Beets were okay. Lots of turkey, but the ham was dry. Stuffing was awful and tasted like soggy bread. The mashed potatoes were insanely over-whipped and turned into starch slop FILLED with pepper, most of my family left it on their plate to go into the garbage because there was so much pepper in it. Clearly the chef did not taste his potatoes or has an insane love for pepper. The apple sauce for the ham had white lumps in it and tasted like raw flour? the only options for mustard was pineapple dijon…I HATE dijon mustard. And what i was looking forward to the most was the dessert. What was served was a joke. Sweet potato pie, which was disgusting. Lemon meringue pie looked disgusting, and is a favourite in my family and many left it on their plates. These was no Yule log. The chocolate cream pie crust tasted stale and the only other option was pecan pie which was okay. The best part of the whole dinner was the bread rolls…. they were super fresh and delicious, which was a good thing because without them, I would have left hungry…. so to sum up this review… if you want to spend $20/ person so good buns, then this is the christmas buffet for you

Just – awful – food. I would like to give negative stars, but apparently that’s not an option. My husband and I were given gift cards to this place as we had our wedding at the Ambassador. Otherwise, we would not have wasted our time. And I would seriously like that time back. Our very kind server started us off with waters and took our orders. The server was lovely throughout the meal. Glancing through the menu, I immediately noticed the lack of options for those with allergies. I’m dairy free and considering being gluten free – there are no highlighted items on the menu which would meet either requirement. Similarly so for those with nut allergies or vegetarians. Also, everything was ridiculously overpriced. 13$ for a five piece shrimp cocktail? Tea, highlighted as per cup, was $3. Coffee was also highlighted as per cup and was $2.50. All desserts ranged from 6-8$. Entrees ranged from $18-$40. The Keg this is not. There is absolutely no reason why it should be priced as such. I ordered a ceasar salad and the only thing I could taste was the dressing. Five minutes later and everything was limp and flavourless. I couldn’t finish half of it. When we got our steaks, mine ordered medium rare and my husband’s ordered medium, mine was the deepest colour of red throughout and my husband’s had hints of ruby. I ate his and sent mine back. It came back still undercooked. Veggies were overcooked and flavourless. Easily the worst dining experience in a long while. I’m seriously considering being a bullimic, just so I can forget this experience entirely and get some good food into me.

It’s okay…too pricey at breakfast. Food is passable but not that good. All kind of premade or hotel like food..

I went to this restaurant with my family as we were staying at the hotel, and I was quite surprised. The salmon was delicious. Service was good – we did not have to wait Good family place to go.
